The answer to the question“How do we proceed?” is the same for all packages: In an interactive mixture of theory and implementation, in an agile way, we teach the necessary tools to be able to cope independently in any situation in the future. Coaching Package 1

Elevator pitch: the value proposition that takes no longer than a lift ride

    You have got people in your target group interested in your good cause and now you need to give them the chance to convince themselves of your great project? Do you have the feeling that you are not “convincing” or are you looking for the “right arguments” from time to time? Then this module is the right one for you.

    Often founders and employees of social enterprises are so enthusiastic and passionate about their good cause that they bubble over with details. This is human and nice and in principle not bad, but often not efficient and goal-oriented, because the interlocutors have to make mental transfers, which they are not always willing to do. It is therefore more important to emphasise the added value and benefits from the very beginning.

      Hire ethical business development & sales experts

      You are looking for new team members for Sales or Business Development? The most diverse applications are now trickling in and you suddenly realise how difficult it is to make such an important selection for your impact business? You ask yourself: What makes a good sales/BD/acquisition employee of a social enterprise? What questions should I ask? What warning signals do I have to watch out for in the interviews? Then this module is the right one for you.

      Why this product?

      Mistakes in recruiting sales staff are particularly expensive for social enterprises that care about impact, have tight budgets, and for whom the external image as an ethical and sustainable company plays an important role. Therefore, it is very important not to go into the selection process purely intuitively, but well prepared in order to avoid wrong choices.

      How do we do it?

      We coach and advise the person(s) participating in the selection process on the part of the social enterprise in a mixture of short, practical input, a joint reflection on the most interesting CVs submitted, as well as personal advice based on 20 years of experience (I had learned from my mistakes!) in the form of a recommendation for the decision between the last two candidates.

      We will proceed in three online sessions as follows:

        (Multi-) stakeholder management

        Are you actually talking to the right people in the organisation that you want to win over for your good cause? If so, do you talk to them “properly”, i.e. do you hit their “nerve”? How can you keep an overview, especially in larger organisations with several contacts, such as ministries or corporates? Who decides on your proposal and how? Have you included all the important stakeholders and those involved in the decision-making process? Are there any stakeholders outside this organisation who are important because they have an influence on the decision, and if so, which ones?

        We have a good cause and a great offer to which one simply has to say Yes! and yet we are put off again and again or we get a surprise rejection despite the enthusiasm of our contacts. This happens when we have overlooked important stakeholders or don’t know the level of interest. The product Stakeholder Management, which has been specially designed for social and impact business, very quickly and clearly shows a picture of the situation in order to then get a lot closer to success – i.e. the decision for your good cause – without unethical manipulation.         We will proceed in two online sessions as follows:
        After a briefing on the background of your good cause and the current situation you are facing, we will look at the stakeholders in your acquisition case and analyse their interests in a mixture of theoretical input and concrete application. You will receive tools and tips on how to proceed, as well as a checklist with homework before the second part of the session. In the second part of the session, we will take another look at the “situation”, review what we have learned and applied in the meantime, and make a recommendation for action for the future.

You will learn to distinguish different roles of stakeholders and different types of decision makers, ask the right questions and adapt your communication to each recipient. You will increase your empathy and learn to understand other people better.

        The system you introduced us to of how to see in one glance who you are dealing with was new to me.         Scaling Business & Impact

        Do you want to scale your business and your impact? Or only your impact, but not your business? You have already thought about this and now want a sparring partner to review your scaling strategy?

        You’ve made it, your social enterprise has been established for some time and you now want to expand your sphere of influence. That’s great! But which is the right path for you? Which of the many options for scaling have you chosen? Validating this with an external expert can save you (as others have done before you) from making expensive mistakes and save a lot of money, because on the one hand, there are very cheap strategies for scaling impact and on the other, mistakes that should be avoided at all costs: Lessons learned from other SocEnts.

        After a short introduction of your social business and impact chain, you explain to me the why and how of your scaling strategy. We will then check together whether there are alternative strategies that might be a better fit and possibly cheaper. For this purpose, I will present you with a number of scaling options. We will also look at what it takes to scale and check if your organisation is ready to scale or what it would still need to prepare. You will receive working materials that you can use in your organisation.
